Patrick Kielty presents the live final of the BBC New Comedy Award 2011, Radio 2's nationwide search to find the best of new stand-up comedy talent in the UK. 600 acts applied to take part. 100 acts performed in ten regional heats across the country. 12 acts made it through to the semi-finals in Edinburgh and Bath, six of which were chosen by a panel of judges to go through to the last stage. Tonight, live from the Tabernacle in London, our final six acts will battle it out to be crowned winner of the BBC New Comedy Award 2011 - and its up to you to decide as we ask listeners to vote for their favourite.
