Tom Robinson presents two hours of the best online music by unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar artists plus exclusive session tracks and industry guests. Tonight, recorded at the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios, an exclusive Introducing session by The Temper Trap. The rousing four-piece are based in Melbourne, Australia and their songs have been compared to those soaring, emotive, powerful rock songs delivered by the likes of The Delays and Radiohead. They embark upon a full European tour next week including UK dates supporting Florence and the Machine in Glasgow, Manchester, Lincoln and London. Check out their website for more details and also visit the band's artist page at bbc.co.uk/music/introducing to see a video of them performing live. Also on the show tonight another four-piece, this time in the form of Bristol-based outfit Fighting Fiction. The band's debut EP A Lesser of Two Evils is out on 16th November and combines indie rock guitar riffs, reggae tinged punk and socially aware lyrics. These chaps are a fundamentally English group who draw inspiration from their heroes The Clash and Billy Bragg. The EP was recorded with producer Mark Williams (Bloc Party, Biffy Clyro) and you can catch the band playing live around the UK over the next couple of weeks.
