Property series. It is a tough sell in the property market, but if you are looking for an expert to sell your home, who is better qualified for the job than you? This programme follows two homeowners who have decided to go it alone and sell their home without going through an estate agent. The aim is to save on commission fees, but they soon find out that not only is the job full-time, it is full-on. The experts, property developer Gary McCausland and former estate agent Jonny Benarr, put the homeowners through their paces to help them achieve that elusive sale. Sherri McGinty in Cheltenham and the Sutherland family in Stockton-on-Tees desperately want to sell their homes. Can they handle the challenge of axing the agent? In an attempt to market their homes, Sherri heads for a local school to distribute information about her property, while the Sutherland family offer the incentive of free treatments at their beauty salon for anyone who helps them make a sale.
