Athletics: World Championships - 2009 - Day 9, Part 1

The final day of the Athletics World Championships begins with Jonathan Edwards introducing live coverage of the women's marathon. Kenya's Catherine Ndereba is the defending world champion, having won in the Osaka sun in 2007. She will again be expecting to feature, but home favourite Irina Mikitenko will almost certainly be a force to be reckoned with, especially having won on the streets of Berlin in 2008. Britain's Paula Radcliffe is also taking part, four years after being crowned world champion in Helsinki.
