Athletics: Great North Road Races

Coverage of the BUPA Great North Road Races in Newcastle and Gateshead, where some of the best male and female distance runners in the world are competing in mile and 3km events. Mo Farah and Becky Lyne made it a great weekend for Britain in 2006 with victory in the men's and women's mile races and the North-East crowd will be hoping for more British success today. In the 3km events, Australia's Craig Mottram defends his title against World Championship Silver medallist Eliud Kipchoge in the men's race.
