Sue Barker presents live coverage of the 28th BUPA Great North Run, the world's biggest half-marathon. This year, a staggering 50,000 runners attempt the 13.1 mile course, running from Newcastle to South Shields. A strong international field compete for honours, while dozens of celebrities once again put their reputations on the line to raise millions of pounds for charity. Look out for a cavalcade of TV presenters, including Ray Stubbs, Jim Rosenthal, Gethin Jones, Sophie Raworth, Bill Turnbull and Sian Williams. Carol Vorderman looks for as low a number as she can when she reaches the finish line, and former athlete Kriss Akabusi hopes to add another medal to his collection.
