The RSPCA are out in force at the Appleby horse fair in Cumbria, and not without good reason. A horse injured in the river gets the treatment it needs, but veterinary attention comes too late for two dogs left in a car. A dazed and confused barn owl takes vet Dennis Jones by surprise, and in Lincolnshire Tom Heap takes on a very fluffy - and cute - rescue.
