An Englishman Abroad

Alan Bennett's award-winning film drama based on a meeting between Australian actress Coral Browne and British spy Guy Burgess. When a mysterious Englishman appears in her dressing room, Coral Browne assumes he is attached to the Embassy, but if so, why are his trousers out at the knees? What does he want with her face powder? An invitation to lunch will perhaps explain, though the lunch consists of one tomato.
