Afternoon on 3 - Ulster Orchestra Summer Series - Episode 2

Ulster Orchestra Summer Series The Ulster Orchestra performs music recorded in the Ulster Hall, Belfast, as part of the 2009 BBC Summer Concert series. The 2009 themes include French connections, Irish pianists and Northern Ireland's composers. The programme includes Ibert's Divertissement, which began life as music for a revival of Eugene, Labiche's farce about a bridegroom trying to get to the church on time, and Stravinsky's Pulcinella, his ballet based on music attributed to Pergolesi.
