In the week of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Robert Schumann, Katie Derham presents specially recorded performances of his music from around Europe. Today the Prague Philharmonia, under their exciting young conductor Jakub Hrusa, perform Schumann's "Spring" Symphony. Another dynamic young conductor, the British-born Daniel Harding, conducts the Dresden Staatskapelle with baritone Markus Butter in the poignant "Requiem for Mignon".
