Presented by Penny Gore. BBC Proms 2008: Another chance to hear a Proms concert recreating a programme first heard at the Royal Albert Hall in 1958, with works by two great German composers. The BBC Symphony Orchestra is joined by its chief conductor Jiri Belohlavek, who was raised in the European traditions of performing Mendelssohn and Brahms.
