The Takacs Quartet, one of the world's leading string quartets, perform a programme of late works by Mozart and Dvorak. The second of his six quartets dedicated to Haydn, the D minor is Mozart's only mature string quartet written in a minor key, while in his 'American' quartet, Dvorak explores the various musical influences of his adopted home.
