A Thanksgiving Service Marking the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain

"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" (Winston Churchill). A large congregation gather in the presence of members of the Royal Family and Her Majesty's Government to commemorate the heroes of the air who fought for their country late in the summer of 1940. Commentator: Nicholas Witchell. The Choir of Westminster Abbey is conducted by Organist and Master of the Choristers James O'Donnell. The organ is played by Sub-Organist Robert Quinney.
