Nigel Slater hosts a biographical chat show exploring the lives and loves of celebrities through their experiences of food. Scottish actor Denis Lawson is embarrassed by his mum as she cooks his childhood tatties and mince and remembers his fashion faux pas as a teen. Meanwhile, friend and actor Hilton McRae causes havoc in the kitchen as he reveals how Denis was only any good in Holby City once he lost his bouffant hair do. Plus, John Gordon Sinclair describes Denis as being so talented he is actually 'horrible' before challenging him and Nigel to make a Moroccan Pigeon Pie. Denis also reveals how George Lucas hasn't a clue when it comes to directing actors, how maintaining friendships within show business is tough, and that his main reason for becoming an actor is actresses.
