We start today’s programme with a poem from Wilbert Magill all about a wee man looking for a woman - and it’s called ‘Lonesome’. Meanwhile, in Desertmartin, the Cranny Cultural and Community Group are having their first event - a four-day festival celebrating their Ulster-Scots culture. Two of the committee members, Norman Young and Gareth Campbell tell us a bit more about their group and plans for the festival. The Ulster-Scots Folk Orchestra perform their musical version of James Orr’s ‘To a Potato’ - before a story from Wilson Burgess all about a relationship falling apart - ‘The Houl On’. The programme finishes with a poem from the great Hugh MacDiarmid - ‘Scunner’, read by Tom Fleming.
