Electro legends Heaven 17 and breakthrough electro artist La Roux join forces at the BBC's Maida Vale studios for a very special session, presented by Steve Lamacq. The artists play some of their own songs, perform on each other's material and also collaborate on a cover. Three decades ago Heaven 17 were instrumental in the popularisation of electronic music in the UK, and over the last year La Roux have come to prominence as one of today's leading electro torchbearers. In bringing these artists together, BBC 6 Music illustrates the lineage and influence of the genre from the 1970s through to the present day. You can watch this performance, along with the recent collaboration on 6 Music between Gary Numan and Little Boots, on digital TV at the following times: Sky & Virgin: 1900 Fri 29th January to 0400 Sunday 7th Feb, (except 1330 to 2015 on Saturday 6th Feb) Freeview Slots (all times 24 hour): Slot 1: 1900 Fri 29th Jan to 0050 Sat 30th Jan Slot 2: 0610 Sat 30th Jan to 1920 Sat 30th Jan Slot 3: 0410 Sun 31st Jan to 1640 Sun 31st Jan Slot 4: 1250 Mon 1st Feb to 0005 Tue 2nd Feb Slot 5: 0410 Tue 2nd Feb to 2045 Tue 2nd Feb Slot 6: 0010 Wed 3rd Feb to 1400 Wed 3rd Feb Slot 7: 1500 Wed 3rd Feb to 2215 Thu 4th Feb Slot 8: 0410 Fri 5th Feb to 1300 Fri 5th Feb Slot 9: 1400 Fri 5th Feb to 0850 Sat 6th Feb Slot 10: 1110 Sat 6th Feb to 1230 Sat 6th Feb.
