6 Music Classic Concert

Stone The Crows, recorded live at the Paris Theatre in 1971, feature in this week's Classic Concert presented by Chris Hawkins. The band, which started out on the pub circuit in Scotland, featured the raunchy vocals of Maggie Bell. At the time, Maggie had been referred to as 'the best female singer in Britain' and likened to Janis Joplin.
