Ride, Kentish Town & Country Club 1991 Ride formed in the late '80s in Oxford. In the beginning of 1990 they were playing at playing at local clubs to audiences of around 200 to promote their debut EP. They refuse to release conventional singles, preferring to put out four-track EPs Ride, Play, Fall and Today Forever. Their debut album 'Nowhere', not only proved to be a best seller but also gained them the 'Best Album' award in the 1990 Melody Maker readers poll. This In Concert performance, recorded at London's Town and Country Club, includes key songs from the Ride EP's and some of the fine tracks from their first album, Nowhere.
