Chris Hawkins presents Ride recorded live at London's Town and Country Club in 1991. This performance features tracks from their first album Nowhere. Ride formed in the late 1980s in Oxford. By the beginning of 1990 they were playing in local clubs to audiences of around 200 to promoting their debut EP. Refusing to release conventional singles, preferring only to put out four-track EPs Ride, Play, Fall and Today Forever. Their debut album 'Nowhere', not only proved to be a best seller but also gained them the 'Best Album' award in the 1990 Melody Maker readers poll. This performance, recorded at London's Town and Country Club, includes key songs from the Ride EP's and tracks from their first album, Nowhere.
