Paul Weller from Guilfest 2005 feature on Live At Two presented by Chris Hawkins, included in this set are tracks taken from his solo albums, along with a few classic Jam tracks thrown in for good measure. As the lead singer of The Jam, Paul Weller was the frontman of one of Britain's most popular bands in the late '70s, influencing many UK bands, from his mod revival contemporaries to the Smiths in the '80s and Blur in the '90s. During the final days of The Jam, PAUL developed a fascination with Motown and soul, which led him to form The Style Council in 1983. As The Style Council's career progressed, Paul Weller became infatuated with jazz-pop and house music, which led to the defection of many of his once-devoted fans. But it wasn't long before he was winning audiences back as a solo artist and by the mid-'90s he had released three successful albums. Since then PAUL has produced more excellent work like Stanley Road and Heliocentric and his brand new album, As Is Now, has already provided him with a couple of hit singles. You can hear tracks from that new album plus old favourites in this fine concert performance.
