6 Mix

As 6 Music celebrates the life and music of Ian Dury on the tenth anniversary of his death, 6 Mix raids the BBC archive to play out a classic 6 Mix from Dury's musical partner in the Blockheads; Chas Jankel. First broadcast in November 2007, it features music from Prince, Stevie Wonder and Teddy Wilson, and Chas talks about how these artists and more influenced the Blockheads' sound.
