DJ Ali B brings his future funk to BBC 6 Music. A former resident of London's Fabric nightclub, Ali started his career working at the Blue Note club before going to work as a promoter and DJ in mainstream dance music. He became heavily involved in the breaks scene before returning to his first love; funk. His weekly night at London's Paradise club has become a hot ticket and in the last year he's played at the Burning Man festival in America and the Winter Olympics in Canada. In his latest 6 Mix show, Ali plays an eclectic mix of tracks from the last thirty years of music given a fresh and funky twist with modern production.
