Journalist Sean Adams celebrates a decade of his influential website, Drowned in Sound. Started in 2000 after the closure of rock weekly 'Melody Maker' left a hole in the market for alternative music coverage, Drowned In Sound quickly became the go-to destination for anyone into up and coming new bands. In this show Sean - who is now also a regular writer for the Sunday Times - discusses the genesis of the site, how its rise coincided with digital revolution in music distribution and his musical and personal highlights of the last decade. Sean also shares the highlights from Drowned In Sound's 10th birthday celebrations, which includes gigs by Male Bonding and No Age, and plays a selection of the tunes which have soundtracked the site's existence including At The Drive In, Health, Bat For Lashes and The Stills.
