Naomi Campbell will give evidence at a war crimes tribunal at the Hague today - she's alleged to have been given a diamond by the former Liberian president Charles Taylor, who's facing charges relating to the civil war in neighbouring Sierra Leone. Some of the biggest names in British film have urged the government to rethink its decision to scrap the UK Film Council. James McAvoy, Emily Blunt and Pete Postlethwaite are amongst those who've signed a letter that's been published in this morning's Telegraph but Chris Atkins is a film director and producer who says it should be scrapped.
