21st Century Bach

J S Bach's 'Great' Prelude and Fugue in A minor (BWV 543) is played by York Minster's organist John Scott Whiteley. Filmed at the Abbey Church, Amorbach in Bavaria, Germany, this programme employs a variety of unusual filming techniques to give a dramatic interpretation of the music. Miniature cameras on the inside of the organ reveal the mechanical works, whilst aerial shots are provided using small helium-filled balloons.
