With Jenni Murray. American actress Elizabeth McGovern talks about her new BBC TV comedy, Freezing, and the album she is releasing with her band Sadie and the Hot Heads. Some British women have decided to freeze their own eggs for their infertile daughters. Jenni hears from a mother who has decided to give her daughter that choice, as she suffers from Turner Syndrome. Jenni also discusses the ethical and medical issues with Dr Gillian Lockwood, Medical Director of Midland Fertility Services, and Professor Donna Dickenson, Professor of Medical Ethics and Law. Lesley Downer talks about her novel The Last Concubine, set in the time of the Japanese Civil War. According to Darina Allen of Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland, building a smoker and smoking your own food is a lot easier than you might think.
