Wild - 2007 - Secret Fawns of Yellowstone

Documentary film from the heart of the magnificent scenery of Yellowstone National Park, telling the story of helpless elk fawns. Elks give birth amongst the tapestry of pine forests and sage-brush prairie, but should they stay or should they go? Grizzly bears are on the prowl, and the mothers try to hide the fawns in the hope that they will not be found by predators. Secrecy, it seems, is their only defence. But when the bears inevitably come too close, what can the mother elk do?
