Fun Lovin' Criminal Huey Morgan meets English rock vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Terry Reid aka 'Superlungs'. Terry Reid has quite a story. In the 60's and 70's he was known as 'Superlungs' or the 'Jesus of Good Times' by his famous rock collaborators and fellow musicians who included Graham Nash, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, Jimi Hendrix and Aretha Franklin. Discovered at the age of 15 he recorded at Abbey Road for EMI and gigged with Cream, Jethro Tull and the Rolling Stones, recommended Robert Plant to Jimmy Page and in his friendship with Gilberto Gil and Caetono Veloso brought latin guitar tunings to British rock and roll music. A long-time fan, Huey meets Terry as he tours the UK with a residency at Ronnie Scotts playing tracks from his back catalogue and reminiscing about his experiences. Also on the show, Huey's old NY pal Mark Ronson finishes his stint as 'Sharing Is Caring' professor, dropping science on us from his huge personal record collection. Huey has another 'New York Minute' with DJ Uncle Mike, dialling into the Big Apple to reminisce about a classic NY night club and he puts the needle on the record for a listener in 'Vinyl Fetish'. All tied together by Huey's eclectic record selection from the likes of Double D & Steinski to Mungo Jerry, via Black Sabbath, Os Mutantes, De La Soul and Prince.
