Street Gangs of Dundee - 09/04/2007

Dundonian rap poet Gary Robertson, takes us back to the 1960s and 1970s when territorial identities were defended by the gangs that evolved in the city's schemes. Members of the Fintry Shams, Lochee Fleet, Beechwood Mob, Kirkton Huns and the Shimmy speak with candour and humour about the fashion and music of Mod, Rocker and Skinhead, the gang colours, the violent battles and the intense camaraderie that remains from those days.
