This week, Russell investigates another aspect of the tools of the songwriters' trade, in the shape of one little word. Through six famous songs with "someday" in the title, we learn of the subtle difference between that and "some day". We look into the suggestion that Louis Armstrong's Someday You'll Be Sorry was a re-working of an earlier song and we note the pivotal importance of the word 'someday' to two of Oscar Hammerstein ll's most famous songs. We also meet veteran cabaret artist Ray Jessel.
