To begin a third week of lunchtime concerts from the City of London Festival, baritone Henk Neven and pianist Hans Eijsackers perform works by Chopin, Schumann and the little-known Dutch brothers Samuel and Daniël de Lange in the beautiful surrounds of St Mary Abchurch. While elder brother Samuel was an important figure in the Netherlands Bach tradition, Daniël was an authority on 15th- and 16th-century polyphony. After three songs by Chopin, the recital concludes with Schumann's much-loved song-cycle Dichterliebe. Louise Fryer presents.
