Louise Fryer presents BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists in performance at the Cheltenham Music Festival 2009. Featuring Beethoven's extraordinary Grosse Fuge, originally written as the finale to his Op 130 string quartet - but discarded after his publisher deemed it too demanding. Young Finnish Quartet Meta4 - one of Radio 4's New Generation Artists - perform the entire Op 130 quartet in its original form, before being joined by the Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter for a performance of Schumann's Piano Quintet in E Flat.
