One Life - Series 9 - The Train You've Been Waiting For

Documentary which looks at Ian Yeowart and Sean English's desire to do something no-one has done for a hundred years in the UK - start a new railway company from scratch. Over the course of a year, their enthusiasm for Grand Central turns to exasperation as the work takes longer and longer, and they eventually realise they have no trains either. The film provides a metaphor for the state of a once-great industry and a portrait of a dedicated group of people who just want some trains to play on.
