New Year's Day Concert - 2008 - Highlights

From the Golden Concert Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, an extended version of the traditional New Year's Day Concert performed by the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Georges Prêtre. The 2008 concert predominantly features the music of the Strauss dynasty and locations around Vienna provide stunning backdrops for performances by the Ballet of the Vienna State Opera and Volksoper. Vienna's famous Lipizzan horses also make a choreographic appearance.
