My Mile of the River - Episode 1

Chris Tally Evans evokes the sights and sounds of the River Wye as it flows yards from his garden in Rhayader in Mid Wales. Chris investigates a fungus which offers nature's vegetarian alternative to chicken, strolls through ancient woodland on the banks of the Wye, hunts for a yaffle and listens to the dusk chorus. He finds you don't have to be in the middle of nowhere to get away from it all.
