Live in session this evening is a band called FOUND. The Mekons have chosen their own favourite John Peel Session and there are Peel By Requests from Popguns and Cinerama. FOUND is the brainchild of college buddies Ziggy Campbell (lead vocals, guitar), Tommy Perman (bass guitar, synth) and Kev Sim (sampler, melodica). They began life as an experimental arts collective putting on many weird and wonderful events in art galleries, warehouses and even storage containers. They recruited the help of Gav Sutherland (keys, backing vocals) and Alan Stockdale (drums and percussion), and morphed into a formidable pop group. Their self-released debut earned them UK national radio play from BBC Radio DJs, Steve Lamacq, Rob Da Bank, Huw Stevens and Vic Galloway. Now signed to King Creosote's label, Fence Records, FOUND have a prolific output with two full length albums and numerous singles/EPs in the last two years). FOUND have also become sought-after re-mixers and have recently applied their creative imaginations to re-working the music of King Creosote, Make Model, Attic Lights and Au Revoir Simone.
