An extra special treat for you this evening Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon is popping in to delight us with some top tunes played on the studio piano .. had it tuned especially no expense spared for the great man. Bang Goes The Knighthood is Neil's latest album and his 10th. It comes off the back of an Ivor Novello nomination for his work with his cricket-crazy side project, the Duckworth Lewis Method. Both these albums were released on his own label Divine Comedy Records. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Neil Hannon signed his first record deal aged 19. His first albums 'Liberation' and 'Promenade' were critically acclaimed, but it was 1996's 'Casanova', and its lead single 'Something For The Weekend' that brought him widespread fame.
