Brass In Concert is now one of the premier entertainment competitions in the brass band year. In November it was held at the Sage Gateshead with 11 of the top British bands and America's Fountain City Brass Band from America playing for the coveted title. Tonight's programme is the first of three recorded at the 2009 competition and features the winning performance from Fodens, conducted by Gary Cutt, who take us on a journey to the stars.
