On the eve of the 55th Eurovision song contest, which this year comes from Oslo, Ken Bruce broadcasts his regular mid-morning show from the Norwegian capital. Ken will look at what Oslo has to offer anyone who fancies a visit there; investigate one of the world's most famous awards - the Nobel Peace Prize (which is based in Norway); chat with the city's Mayor about the special relationship between Norway and the UK; find out about the life and times of famous Norwegian explorers such as Thor Heyerdhal and Roald Amundsen; and samples some typically Norwegian cuisine. Also joining Ken will be the composer of this year's UK Eurovision entry Pete Waterman and this year's performer Josh Dubovie; Paddy O'Connell (who is presenting BBC Three's coverage of the semi-finals earlier in the week) will discuss what will be worth watching and what won't during the final; while official Eurovision Song Contest biographer John Kennedy O'Connor will chat about the history of this unique European event. Former UK Eurovision winner Katrina also has the final two of her favourite Eurovision songs in Tracks Of My Years.
