Jazz on 3 - The Missing Bits

Jez Nelson presents a selection of previously un-broadcast music recorded for the show, including pieces from Herbie Hancock's 2008 London Jazz Festival gig, featuring Benin guitarist Lionel Loueke. Taking centre stage with two of his own compositions, Seven Teens and Virgin Forest, Loueke performs both guitar and baritone solos. The set features Herbie Hancock (piano), Terence Blanchard (trumpet), Gregoire Maret (harmonica), James Genus (bass) and Kendrick Scott (drums).
