President Barack Obama has disavowed some of the war on terror tactics employed by his predecessor but America still faces many of the same national security challenges, from Pakistan to the Middle east. Chuck Hagel, was, up until January, an influential Republican Senator - now he chairs the Atlantic Council. Is Obama's America learning the right lessons from recent history?
