Funky Fables - Merry Men at Work

Animation featuring audience participation. Well-known folk stories and fairy tales are given a modern twist, with viewers able to become characters featured in the story by uploading a picture of their face through the CBBC website. The Sheriff of Nottingham has a grudge against Robin Hood, and devises a plan to oust him and his gang from the forest. The Pied Punk Piper releases a swarm of rats, leaving Robin and his Merry Men homeless and without a steady income. They seek help from the Wolf and his employment agency. Robin gets a job working for the Sheriff and discovers his devious plan. When the Pied Piper is double-crossed by the Sheriff, he and Robin join forces to get revenge. Finally, Robin and the gang settle back to their beloved forest but Friar Tuck has not faired well in his recent employment.
