The Davies Diaries (Parts 3 & 4) Another chance to hear Ray Davies, singer, songwriter and frontman of The Kinks tell the story of the band's heady triumphs in the 60s. He talks about their influences, remembers some of the great acts who played with The Kinks, and shares the tales behind his many classic songs. The documentary was first broadcast on Radio 2 in 2000 and is followed by an hour of classic rock concerts and sessions. First up is Atomic Rooster recorded live at the BBC's Paris Theatre in London in 1972. There are also sessions from Blink 182, The Enid, Fleetwood Mac & FM.
