Chris Hawkins - Open Up 05/07/10

Hey early risers, the mornings are lovely and light, so come and join 6 Music's secret society of cool music and daft chat with Hawk, and his long-suffering producer Slev. Music this morning came from as far and wide as Band of Horses, The Staple Singers, and A House, plus the 5.15 Request was We Care Alot by Faith No More. Darren Bett returned to the broom cupboard to deliver a Funky Forecast from the BBC's Weather Centre, and a very fine Moloko tune featured in The Rockbook Files. And in the light of not having any fetes or functions to officially open, The Hawk opened a jar of pickled onions, and an Excel document. Much hilarity ensued.
