Welcome to the Hawkathon! The live hour at 4 is kicked off by The Divine Comedy, fronted by the congenial Neil Hannon, live at The Summer Sundae in Leicester in 2007. Hannon has been busy of late, he released his cricket-themed album 'Duckworth-Lewis Method', a collaboration with Thomas Walsh of Pugwash, this year but it looks like we'll have to wait until early 2010 for a new The Divine Comedy long player. There's also another chance to hear sessions from The Wonderstuff in 1987, and Liverpudlian ska-punk band The Dead 60's in the 6 Music Hub in May 2005. Plus, the 5.15 - your chance to pick any track as the first request of the day on BBC 6 Music, The Funky Weather forecast, live from a broom cupboard at the BBC weather centre, will help you decide what to wear, and there's another daft game of Play Your Birthday Cards Right.
