In this landmark three part series, William Crawley and a team of experts peel back 600 million years of history to chronicle the story of Northern Ireland's spectacular landscape, plants, animals and people. Using CGI to bring the past to life, audiences will discover in this first programme how the Antrim coast was once a baking hot desert, how the Sperrin mountains were once higher than the Himalayas, and how our landscape was once drowned beneath a tropical ocean.
