Jackie is in north Antrim for a meeting of the Bushmills Ulster-Scots Heritage Group who are announcing a whole programme of events, talks and activities. Jock Cousin, Mary Anderson and Ross Wilson tell us more about the group’s plans to promote Ulster-Scots in the area: and we hear some music from one of the contributors to the programme - Dick Glasgow - with his friends Dennis Sweeney, James McIlhearne and Mary Mulholland with a variety of tunes. Charlie Gillen is also at the Bushmills meeting and he tells us a story about the power of the battery wireless. Jackie catches up with Jim Devenney of the Ulster-Scots Agency and chats with Sammy and Anne McLaughlin; while ‘Roy Arbuckle and the Different Drums of Ireland’ play ‘Rooftop reels’ from their new CD, ‘Follow the Drum’.
